Since I’m a bit of a minimalist, I only have one goal in 2021.
I want to live in the present moment. My plan is to let go of the past and learn to stop worrying about the future. Simply put – Be. Here. Now.
2021 Personal Tagline
In marketing, we use a tagline to help make the essence of our brand practical and straightforward. It is simple and to the point, like Nike’s Just Do It or Spotify’s Soundtrack for your life.
Do you have a personal tagline for 2021? Perhaps it is a single goal or a few words that will guide you? It is a fun little exercise to do for you or your business. If you come up with one, please share it with me in the comments below.
Two-Year-Old Teacher
My teacher for this life lesson is Bodhi Kai – my two-year-old grandson.
I could write all day long about how he lives in the moment, playing gleefully with his toy lawn care equipment or throws a stick for Everly, the neighbor’s dog. Bodhi calls him Aya because he can’t say, Everly. Through FaceTime, I’ll watch him spend twenty minutes enjoying a frozen treat. He hums when he eats his food because he is enjoying it.
Yes, I’m exhausted from the pandemic, the politics, and the pressures of life in the 21st century. Aren’t you?
When I turn my focus to each moment, I can see how fortunate I am. So much to be grateful for – so much love, kindness, and friendship surrounding me. Blessed with a loving family, caring friends, and all that I need – more smiling and less worrying seems like an excellent plan for 2021.
Smile more, worry less – the perfect personal tagline.
