Guest Bloggers Wanted With Fresh Points of Views on Marketing

Over the last year, I have opened my blog to guest writers with different views and perspectives about marketing. My goal is to bring a range of alternative insights and thoughts to those who read my posts.

I reject about 90% of those who submit posts because their ideas aren’t new, insightful, or fresh. Many folks reach out with irrelevant topics that I doubt my audience will want to read about on this platform. The Marketing Sage Blog sticks to marketing, branding, and related topics.

I want this modest platform to bring a diverse group of ideas from people with different marketing and life experiences.

If writing a guest blog is of interest, reach out to me via email at jeffslater@themarketingsage.com – Let me know a little about yourself and the topic you have in mind. If you have some writing samples you can share, please do. I love alternative, counterintuitive, and wildly different thinking.

I Too Am Here To Learn

Posts are typically 500-700 words and should focus on a marketing topic, experience, or idea where you can bring something new and original. I read all submissions and, as I said, reject most of them.

My metric is have I learned something that I hadn’t known before or seen a marketing challenge or topic in a new light? Can you teach me and an audience of thousands of other marketers and brand builders something clever, curious, or creative?

You can profile a product or service as long as it isn’t a commercial pitch. I’m not looking to promote or sell stuff – I’m interested in ideas or observations that marketers can use to help them grow their business. I recently wrote about Proclamation Goods – a business model that fascinated me. It wasn’t a paid post – just something of interest.

Interested?

Here are links to several guest posts from the last year.

And thanks for reading and subscribing to allow me to share my perspective on marketing.
